TRAVEL TO CROATIA

Croatia has several international airports with multiple flights daily. Fly into Split, Dubrovnik, Zagreb, or Zadar. We recommend checking Google Flights Explorer or Kayak to find competitive pricing.

Fly into Split (SPU)

The airport in Split is the closest and most convenient airport to our departure marina for Party, Ultra and Adventure Sail Week (weeks going from Split to Dubrovnik). The nearby marinas are ACI marina Split (45 min) and ACI marina Trogir (15 min).

    • BUS:Croatia Airlines offers a bus shuttle from Split Airport to the Central bus station in Split. Central bus station is located on the east coast of the harbour, opposite the ACI Split Marina (west coast) where the SWC boats are located. From there you will need to take a 20 min walk or take a water taxi (5 min) to the Marina. Water taxi stand is located in the central part of Riva, the main sea promenade.       Make sure to specify ACI Marina Trogir as your destination because there are a few marinas in the area.
    • BUS: Directly across the street from the airport there is a local bus No. 37 which will take you to Trogir Central bus station. Be sure to take the bus in the right direction, via Trogir. Buses arrive every hour and cost approximately €3 (21 Kuna). From the Central bus station in Trogir there is a 10 min walk to the ACI Trogir Marina, which is located across the town's main bridge.

EXTRA TIME IN SPLIT?

There are some beautiful places to see in Split, Trogir and also within 1 to 2 hours drive. If you have a day or two, tour old town in Split and Trogir. Take a day trip to Krka National Park to see the falls. If you have enough extra time for the overnight trip, make your way inland to see the spectular Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Fly into Dubrovnik (DBV)

For the weeks leaving from Dubrovnik, arriving at the Dubrovnik Airport is the best way to start our Adventure Sail Week.The marina is ACI marina Dubrovnik/Komolac.

    • BUS (ARRIVALS): Travellers arriving on a scheduled flight to Dubrovnik need to pass through passport control first. After picking up your luggage, step outside of the arrival terminal and the Airport Shuttle Bus will be parked alongside the building. It leaves the airport after most or all of the passengers have cleared the arrivals area. Tickets can be bought on the bus. The cost of the airport transfer is 35 Kuna (4.50€). After leaving Dubrovnik Airport, the first stop is Pile Gate in front of Old Town Dubrovnik, continuing afterwards to the Main Bus Station in Gruz Port.
    • BUS (DEPARTURES): There is a regular airport shuttle bus from the main bus station. It is recommended to take the bus 2 hours before flight time for departing domestic flights or 2.5 hours before regular international flights. The price is 35 kuna (4.50€) and tickets can be bought on the bus. You can also board the bus at the cable car station, just outside the Old Town of Dubrovnik.

    • BUS: Take the local bus from the Dubrovnik Main Bus Station. The local bus numbers are 1A, 1B, and 1C. Ask the driver to let you know when you are at ACI marina Dubrovnik stop. Price is 15kn (2€).

    • BUS: There is a local bus/van from Dubrovnik bus station to the Riva in Split city centre. From there you will need to take a short cab ride or water taxi to the marina. Make sure to specify the marina you are traveling to. The Bus costs 130 Kuna (17€) per person. The ride takes 4.5 hours.

EXTRA TIME IN Dubrovnik?

Don't miss out on a tour of the Dubrovnik City Wall. Take a cable car up to Mount Srdj and explore Fortress Lovrijenac. Check out filming locations for Game of Thrones. Enjoy the old town cafes, bars and clubs.

Fly into Zagreb (ZAG)

If you are flying into Croatia from outside of Europe, you will likely end up in Zagreb. While further from the coast, this gives you the best opportunity to check out some of the beautiful inland spots in Croatia and take a leisurely drive down the coast.

    • TRAIN: There is a train from Zagreb main station to the Riva in Split city centre. Cost is approximately 290 Kuna (39€) per person. The ride takes 6 hours. Click here for more information.
    • BUS: There is a fast bus from Zagreb bus station to the Riva in Split city centre. From there, you will need to take a short cab ride or water taxi to the your marina. Make sure to specificy the Marina you are traveling to. The Bus costs 180 Kuna (24€) per person. The ride takes 5 hours. Click here for more information.

EXTRA TIME?

We recommend that guests flying into Zagreb take a few extra days to explore Croatia. Rent a car and take a relaxing journey towards your departure port of Split or Dubrovnik with stops at gorgeous Rastoke/Slunj and the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park.

If you're looking for a great party, try out a club crawl in Zagreb. If you really want something unique, make your way to Pag and Zrce Beach for a wild beach party. Driving up to the northern tip of the Adriatic coastline is a special experience!

Allow yourself time to explore and experience Croatia - after all, you've come all this way!

Fly into Zadar (ZAD)

The Zadar airport is convenient to fly into if you have a bit of time to explore before making your way down to Split to board your yacht. Party, Ultra and Adventure Sail Week (when leaving from Split to Dubrovnik) depart from Split or Trogir which is around a 3 hour bus ride from Zadar.

    • BUS: There is a local bus/van from Zadar Bus Station to the Riva in Split city centre. From there, you will need to take a short cab ride or water taxi to the your marina. Make sure to specify the marina name. The Bus costs 115 Kuna (15€) per person. The ride takes 3 hours.

EXTRA TIME?

Explore the promontory where Zadar Old Town sits and check out the famous Sea Organ and The Greeting to the Sun. From Zadar, you can check out the beautiful Kornati National Park or take a trip to Krka National Park.

If you have extra time, consider renting a car and driving up the Adriatic coast to Pag and Zrce Beach for a wild beach party. Or make your way inland to the waterfall capital of Croatia, Plitvice Lakes National Park.
